Policy overview
The Bryton Privacy Policy is formulated by Qunli Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Bryton"), with reference to the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and aims to enhance the protection of user data by Bryton services, and Reveal to users the content of personal information (personal information) saved by Bryton. When users use Bryton devices to save data and upload it to the host or log in to Bryton web pages, they must confirm and agree to the contents of this privacy policy. This policy will be updated from time to time, and users will be required to review and agree again after the update. If the user clicks to agree and continues to use Bryton services, this privacy policy will apply to the user's information stored in Bryton. If the user does not agree to this policy, the use of Bryton devices will not be affected.


Bryton User Profile
1.1 Bryton bike computer
First time use:
Users need to set user information so that the bike computer can identify and help users confirm their status during exercise, thereby better controlling their exercise performance. This information includes gender, date of birth, height, weight, heart rate, lactate threshold, average power output per hour, maximum power output per hour, bicycle weight, wheel diameter and geographical information such as altitude. The bike computer will record the user's movement trajectory through GPS signals, and sensors will collect data such as speed, rotation speed, output power and heart rate (depending on whether it is equipped with sensors).

Purpose of saving:
The personal information entered and recorded by the user is based on the information entered by the user or recorded by the device. The personal information saved by the bike computer should be informed to the user before revealing the information.

Processing instructions :
Users can view, update and delete all personal information on the car list by themselves. Regardless of whether it is personal information or not, users can use the car meter function to upload it to the network space provided by Bryton for free for backup, and can also restore the backup data to the car meter. Users can also download backup data to other storage media through the Bryton official website interface. If the user chooses not to upload, when the storage space in the bike computer is full, the user can choose to delete the old record or have the bike computer overwrite it with the new record.


1.2 Customer service information on the official website (currently only available in Taiwan)

To make a service request: Users need to provide their name, email, mobile phone number, country or regional location and other relevant information.

Purpose of preservation: When Bryton responds to user customer service requests, it will respond based on the contact information filled in by the user, and retain user questions and answers from customer service staff.

Browse and remove: Users can browse the processing progress and response content of customer service requests at any time through the link in the customer service email. If requested, customer service staff will assist in removing the data.


1.3 Users upload Bryton bike computer data to the free cloud backup service provided by Bryton

Purpose of saving: Bryton only provides users with free cloud backup services. If users choose to upload a backup, they can browse personalized data services through the Bryton APP or log in to the Bryton member webpage, and can restore the backup data to the car by themselves. Bryton may use data with personally identifiable information removed for quantitative analysis as a basis for product improvement.

Browse and remove: The user's bike computer data upload function can be turned off through the bike computer settings. Users can log in to the member page through the Bryton official website or APP to browse, download or remove uploaded data.


1.4 Bryton APP Personal Information

Purpose of saving: The data entered by the user in the APP will be merged with the data in Bryton's free cloud backup service for the user's review.

Browse and delete: Users can browse, change, and delete data uploaded to Bryton's free cloud backup service through the APP.

1.5 Users upload other websites themselves
The Bryton bike computer comes with a USB connection interface for users to upload records to other websites such as Strava, TrainingPeaks, etc. Bryton has nothing to do with users uploading data themselves, and Bryton cannot provide corresponding personal data protection services.

2. Description of Bryton employees who have access to user information and how it is stored

2.1 Scope of access to employee information

Restricted to job-related needs: User personal data can only be viewed by job-related employees, and other employees cannot obtain the data. Job-related employees include customer service personnel and network hosting managers.

2.1.1 Customer service staff:

It is limited to responding to users’ customer service requests and managing customer service records.

2.1.2 Network host manager:

Responsible for managing the backup and quantitative analysis of network host space and user uploaded data.

2.2 Saving method

All data is saved on the Bryton host. Except that users can browse, download or remove it by themselves, Bryton will not provide relevant data to third parties through the Internet or any other means.

3. Other instructions
3.1 User-uploaded data is only used for backup space and may be used as a quantitative statistical reference for the development of new features. Research will not be conducted on individual users.

3.2 Due to security backup, upload records deleted by users may be retained for 3 months before being completely destroyed.

3.3 Bryton provides free server space backup and assumes no responsibility if data is lost for any reason.

3.4 If Bryton changes or stops its network services, it will announce it in advance, and users must save their data during the announcement period.

3.5 Due to network security regulations, network data in China is connected to the host in China by default, and the data is stored in this region.

3.6 When the privacy policy changes, users will be required to review and agree again.
